Leanne McRill Composting Leanne received her Master Gardener training and certificate from the University of Illinois Extension Service – Cook County.  Leanne is an avid conservationist and a volunteer sharing her knowledge of best practices in gardening techniques.  Leanne has brought programs on Composting to many garden clubs and groups for several years.  Leanne also serves as the facilitator for National Garden Club’s Educational Series on the Environment through Garden Clubs of Illinois.  You will enjoy Leanne’s presentation.    Please join…

Mark Spreyer Director, Stillman Nature Reserve Mr. Spreyer did his graduate work in Minnesota on Great Gray Owls.  He went on to organize and direct the release program of Chicago’s Peregrine Falcons and was also involved in renewing habitat for the endangered Peregrine Falcons.  He now spends many hours looking after the sick and injured raptors at Stillman Nature Reserve.   Mr. Spreyer will bring 5 birds with him for members to view.   For more information, please contact Eileen Lucietto,…
