Kathy and Bob Andrini have been educators their entire working lives. Although recently retired, they are still actively engaged in different forms of teaching nature programs for the St. Charles Park Distrjct, organizing and leading field trips for the Kane County Audubon Society, and teaching bird classes at the College of DuPage. They have long been interested in nature and the environment, and would like to bring you this awareness of the outdoors through their presentations.
“Sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds that you would experience on a beautiful spring day.” Nelson Lake, the jewel of the Fox Valley, is the place we have chosen for our walk. Its many different habitats provide opportunities for a great variety of flora and fauna. Yet this visual presentation can be found anywhere you choose to walk. Bird calls and the appearance of flowers found only in spring will delight you.
