Not pictured Kathleen Eddy<br><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The outing took us to the Sagawau Environmental Learning Center located in Lemont Illinois.   The Sagawau Canyon is a gorge located in the valley of the Des Plaines River.  It is the only such landform in northeastern Illinois.    It was a fun, challenging hike through the stream that flows through the bottom of the canyon and the rocks which were quite slippery from the water.
